Inside Dubai reviews the latest movie releases in Dubai.

Experience the futuristic “Tomorrowland”, the tantalising journey of “San Andreas” and the sweet and sour hindi comedy sequel  “Tanu Weds Manu Returns”.

Tomorrowland

Frank (George Clooney) and Casey (Britt Robertson) travel to a place somewhere in time and space only known as Tomorrowland where their actions directly affect the world and themselves. What an interesting concept yeah?

Disney sure is having a tremendous year, first Avengers 2,  now this, and at the end of the year – Star Wars. While Tomorrowland is undeniably a great looking piece of cinema, but when it comes to the story and plot, it falls a bit short. The concept is interesting enough, just not played out as well as it could have been.

Rating: PG (for sequences of sci-fi action violence and peril, thematic elements, and language)

Released and Running across the country.

Tanu Weds Manu Return – Hindi

Tanu Weds Manu Return is the sequel of 2011 Tanu Weds Manu. I still remember the first part even though I am not a massive bollywood fan and only watch very selective movies, but this movie has something for everyone. Brilliant comedy, a strong script and rock solid acting. This time they have came up with a big surprise, so Bollywood lovers will do well to go enjoy the film with friends, family and a bucket load of popcorn.

Rating: PG 13

Out Now

San Andreas – (Next Weekend)

After a devastating earthquake hits California, a Los Angeles fire department rescue-helicopter pilot (The Rock) and his ex-wife make a dangerous journey across the state in order  to rescue their estranged daughter. Sounds pretty adventurous. Ironically, the internet is awash with rumours and predictions that an event will actually occur on the release date, due to planetary alignments set to disturb the Moon and Earth equilibrium. If these predictions come true, California could be at risk…. Time will prove everything.

Advance Booking is available all over Dubai, You can book the tickets online at Vox, Reel and Novo Cinemas.

Rating: PG 13
