Arabic calligraphy is the artistic practice of handwriting. Calligraphy was originally a tool for communication, but it quickly began to be used in architecture, decoration and coin design. With the support of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority hosts the eighth edition of the Dubai International Exhibition of Calligraphy.
Come and get to see some of the most astonishing works of art in Arabic Calligraphy. The one month long event is free to the public, and is on display at Wafi Mall.
