Khloe Kardashian, in Dubai for some beauty seminar thing, has offended Muslim women by adorning a niqab and hijab, and then posting a picture of it all over the internet.

The move, seen by some as disrespecting Muslim culture, comes perhaps as a result of the recent uproar regarding some Egyptian actress who was bullied in a boutique store by a gang of six Emirati girls, for not covering up enough.

I’m Confused

For the large number of non-Muslim female tourists and female expatriates, it’s starting to get a bit confusing…

“You’re not allowed to wear traditional Arab dress as a mark of respect and to cover up as required, but then you’re not allowed to wear your own clothes that you feel comfortable in during the 50°C heat in summer,” commented one confused Western girl on the Kardashian Instagram account.

It’s true, it does appear confusing. But in actual fact it’s fairly simple:

Don’t dress like you’re going to the Cavalli Club to sit down all night and look really unhappy while some Eastern European DJ plays Psy Trance, if you’re going to a mall. Dress like you would if you were meeting your boyfriend’s parents for the first time, working in a library, or going to a fancy dress party as your nan. To make things easier, we’ve compiled a list of items it may not be a good idea to wear to the Mall:

1.     Bikini

2.     Clubbing Clothes

3.     Strappy Top

4.     Denim Shorts

5.     Hijabs

6.     Niqabs

7.     Abaya

8.     Knee-High Boots

9.     Short Skirts

10. Latex

Hopefully that clears it up. Now everyone is happy, nobody is offended, and we can continue to live in perfect harmony with our fellow humans.

Soon the Kardashian will be back in the US, and will only be able to offend people who literally follow her on one of the TV shows in which she appears, or her variety of social media accounts.
