One of London’s prime dining destinations has finally arrived here, so let us all welcome Novikov Dubai.
Novikov is originally of Russian extraction, but has very quickly garnered a huge reputation among London’s elite for it’s site on Berkeley Street in Mayfair. Popular among a selection of decent celebs (no, not people who are in TOWIE) and those looking for a distinctive dining experience with an expert level of personal service, Novikov London is always busy, and often you need to book weeks in advance to get a table. Kind of says all you need it to. You can read a review of the London restaurant on this blog by some maniac London radio presenter, Lost It Girl? Indeed.
So once you’ve established a commanding presence in London, the natural progression is to bring it to Dubai, and with their new establishment in the Sheraton Grand Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road, there seems little doubt that Novikov will be a smash hit amongst us all.
For those that like Asian-fusion, fresh seafood and authentic Mediterranean cuisine, Novikov is likely to become the destination of choice, but then when it comes to choice, we really are spoilt for it in Dubai, so what will make Novikov really stand out?
Well how about the variety of uniquely crafted separate spaces within the setting? There’s the Sushi Counter, the Bar and Lounge, the Main Dining Room and the Private Mezzanine Dining Room, each area providing a distinctly different vibe, while all having the inextricable connection of similarly opulent décor and surroundings.
But what really sets Novikov apart is the food, the menu, and the creative cocktails. Head Chef of the Novikov London, Jeff Tyler, is over to ensure the same standards set by his London establishment are firmly in place here.
We will update you on what promises to be a spectacular addition to Dubai’s already thriving food scene when we’ve been and got a free meal out of them.
