Well, the live theatre season is winding down. And the last couple months I have found it frustrating (as always) that there is not one central listing of events in Dubai. I’m working on the big-wigs here at InsideDubai, but until they see the light and do things my way (as everyone will eventually realise is the only way for the world to be happy and live in peace: do things Jesse’s way) then I will provide you with the most comprehensive set of searches you can do to be on top of things once everyone ramps up again after summer.
Dubai Drama Group
These guys produce several shows each year. They rent out different venues depending on the size and type of show. Check their Facebook page for upcoming show dates, as well as audition info, in case you are an aspiring actor.

Courtyard Theatre
A venue that hosts shows from other groups, but also puts on their own improv and variety nights.
The Junction
A new venue set to launch in September. On Facebook saying that they’ll host theatre, live music, and more. We’ll see what it becomes as it takes form.

Laughter Factory
A rotating selection of comedians (often from UK) who perform at various venues (almost always licensed 😉 around the city.

A venue where a fair bit of theatre in Dubai happens. Also home to many musical and dance performances.
By the way, if I have missed something, say so in the comments below.
