The Playstation4 is a year and a half old now, and while perhaps the options and variety were not quite what you may have hoped for during the first 18 months, all that is set to change now.

Batman: Arkham Knight

Arkham Knight is the forthcoming action game from the Batman series. It’s being developed by none other than Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The eye-catching aspect is that Rocksteady has created all-new, never-seen-before characters to challenge Batman’s skill and strength, in what looks set to be the highlight of the PS4 release schedule for the summer. They introduce the Batmobile for the first time to Gotham City, and it is going to be driveable for the very first time in the franchise. The anticipation!
Wolfenstein: The Old Blood

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is an action-adventure first-person shooter game developed by MachineGames. The interesting fact about this game is that is a prequel rather than a sequel which is set in the 1940’s. To progress through the story, players take on enemies throughout levels. The game features a variety of lethal weapons, and plenty of gore. Explosive action from the off.
Dead Island 2

Dead Island 2 is an action role-playing survival horror video game which has been developed by German company Yager. This is a sequel to the popular 2011 release Dead Island, which takes place in sunny California. Dead Island was always meant to be an intense, trembling and dread-filled game which can be enjoyed with friends in a seamless multiplayer gaming experience. With almost a thousand weapons to choose from, a weapons crafting system and upgraded vehicles, Dead Island 2 promises to pick up where its predecessor left off, and become even bigger.
Mad Max

All the movie enthusiasts will of course know that Mad Max is a 1979 Australian dystopian action film directed by George Miller. Now fans of the film will be enthralled by the news that Avalanche Studios is releasing this post-apocalyptic vehicular combat game with publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Mad Max will features lots of weapon variety which the mad man can use to conquer his rivals. Those who have previously enjoyed Max Payne will love this one, as it has more advanced slow-motion features in which you can toggle between targets, while also mirroring the action-packed deep joy we all loved initially.
God of War III Remastered

For fans of the God of War Saga, the wait is nearly over as this epic game is set for release in July this year. We are set to see a lot more true action games enter the market in the last six months of 2015, something which has arguably been missing from the release schedule of the PS4 thus far. Personally, I’ll be in line for all of them
